The great thing about the Hello Song is that it is so flexible; we used it in the first session of Knights & Castles to introduce the new topic with different verses while still using something the children already knew and felt comfortable with.

- 'sword fight everybody' (sword fight in pairs)
- 'ride everybody, dismount' (trot on the spot and then step off the horse and stop - counting required!)
- 'bow everybody, arrow. Aim everybody, release!' (hold up the bow with your left hand, the arrow with your right. Pull back on the bow aiming across the circle, then... release!)
- 'bow everybody, curtsy' (here only the boys bow and only the girls curtsy)
